Midnight Club: Los Angeles
Midnight Club: Los Angeles is one of those games, like Halo or COD, that will eat your time away and swoop you into the game. This game is highly addictive, and is progressive, meaning that it has a sort of ranking system that lets you unlock newer/better cars and parts. You will spend hours racing other drivers, wagering money at race clubs, and pinking your car to win another. This game gives you the look and feel of driving a real car with it's amazing graphics and sound effects. You will be amazed at how realistic the prices, specs, and performance of the virtual cars mimics their real counterparts. The online play in MCLA is very good, giving the ability to have 16 player races through the streets of LA. Several expansion packs, available through Xbox live or PSN, add extra content, such as new cars and a larger map. MCLA is differant from other racing games because of it's free-roam feature. You can drive anywhere in the virtual representation of LA and even get chaced by the police. Games like Need for Speed and Burnout Paradise also give the player the free-roam play, but not in such a realistic mannor. This game is as close to perfect as a racing game can be and I highly reccomend it. Remember to comment, and follow me on twitter. www.twitter.com/jsmith823
